A superb opportunity has arisen in the York area for a Paraplanner to join our client’s independent practice in the York area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking for a supportive and friendly team, with genuine work-life balance, hybrid and flexible working, and a fantastic holiday allowance.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will:
- Prepare suitability reports and financial plans
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection
- Support advisers with financial planning strategies
- Work on inheritance tax planning cases, including Trusts and Business Property Relief (BPR)
- Support recommendations involving EIS and VCT planning
- Help improve processes and efficiencies
- Collaborate with a close-knit and ambitious team
Paraplanner requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum)
- Strong paraplanning experience within financial planning
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Experience or exposure to inheritance tax planning
- Organised, proactive and detail-focused
- Someone who values culture, teamwork and long-term career growth
