We're recruiting for a New Homes Business Development Manager to join a successful team in Chatham, driving new business opportunities, building strong relationships with housebuilders and developers, and supporting the performance of new homes sales teams.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced New Homes Sales professional with a proven track record of winning instructions, managing teams and delivering against commercial targets.
The Role
- Generate new business and present to housebuilder clients to secure new homes instructions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, developers and residential offices
- Identify and develop new opportunities across varying-size developments
- Manage, motivate and incentivise site sales consultants to achieve targets
- Coach and support teams to maximise sales performance
- Generate opportunities for additional services including mortgages, conveyancing, lettings and property valuations
- Work closely with the area New Homes support team to ensure marketing and sales administration is managed effectively
- Problem-solve and influence outcomes to achieve the best commercial results
- Work towards agreed business development and sales targets
- Collaborate closely with the land team to identify and develop opportunities
New Homes Business Development Manager requirements:
- Proven track record of winning new homes sales instructions across developments of varying sizes
- Strong New Homes Sales experience, ideally combined with residential Estate Agency experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver against commercial targets
- Experience managing, coaching and motivating teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Professional, organised and commercially driven
- Strong problem-solving ability with a results-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
