We're delighted to be working with a highly reputable company based in Oxfordshire, seeking a Commercial Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects across the UK, predominantly across the South of England and Greater London.

The Role

As a Commercial Building Surveyor, you will:

  • Deliver commercial building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects
  • Provide expert advice on property, construction, and building-related matters
  • Complete detailed building surveys, reports, and technical assessments
  • Carry out defect diagnosis and analysis, providing recommendations and solutions
  • Advise clients on building condition, maintenance, and health and safety considerations
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, construction companies, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Manage project documentation and ensure accurate reporting
  • Work independently while maintaining high standards of technical delivery
  • Support clients with professional advice throughout the surveying process

Commercial Building Surveyor Requirements:

  • Minimum AssocRICS qualification preferred (applications welcomed from highly experienced Building Surveyors)
  • Degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent qualification
  • Previous commercial property experience essential
  • Experience in dilapidations, project management, defect diagnosis, and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical approach with strong IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across project locations

Working Hours

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Hybrid working (office attendance varies)
  • Overnight stays may be required, with expenses covered
