This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects across the UK, predominantly across the South of England and Greater London.
The Role
As a Commercial Building Surveyor, you will:
- Deliver commercial building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects
- Provide expert advice on property, construction, and building-related matters
- Complete detailed building surveys, reports, and technical assessments
- Carry out defect diagnosis and analysis, providing recommendations and solutions
- Advise clients on building condition, maintenance, and health and safety considerations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, construction companies, and other relevant stakeholders
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate reporting
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of technical delivery
- Support clients with professional advice throughout the surveying process
Commercial Building Surveyor Requirements:
- Minimum AssocRICS qualification preferred (applications welcomed from highly experienced Building Surveyors)
- Degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent qualification
- Previous commercial property experience essential
- Experience in dilapidations, project management, defect diagnosis, and analysis
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical approach with strong IT skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across project locations
Working Hours
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Hybrid working (office attendance varies)
- Overnight stays may be required, with expenses covered
