Experienced in commercial property agency and looking to join an established independent consultancy with strong earning potential?
We're recruiting for a Commercial Property Agent to join a well-established, independent commercial property consultancy with a strong regional reputation and a growing Agency team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property professional who enjoys winning new business, building strong client relationships and seeing deals through from instruction to completion.
You’ll work across Bedford, Milton Keynes and Luton, handling a varied portfolio including office, industrial, retail, investment, development and mixed-use properties.
The Role
As a Commercial Property Agent, you will:
- Win new instructions through appraisals, networking and proactive business development
- Manage commercial sales and lettings from instruction through to completion
- Negotiate Heads of Terms and progress transactions with solicitors and professional advisers
- Conduct property inspections and accompanied viewings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, vendors, tenants, investors and developers
- Advise clients on local market conditions and opportunities
- Prepare marketing particulars and manage listings across commercial property portals
- Maintain accurate records and activity through the CRM system
- Work closely with Property Management and Professional Services teams to identify further opportunities
- Contribute to the continued growth of the department and fee income
Commercial Property Agent requirements:
- At least 3 years’ property agency experience, ideally with a background in commercial sales and lettings
- Confident carrying out appraisals, winning instructions, negotiating deals and developing new business
- Commercially driven, confident dealing with clients and motivated by results
- Experience with commercial property
- An existing regional network would be advantageous
- AssocRICS/MRICS or a willingness to work towards a qualification would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence essential
What's on Offer?
- £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary
