We're recruiting for a Senior Rural Surveyor to join a well-established rural professional services team based in the Ayr area of South Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a broad range of rural consultancy services, including estate management, valuations, renewables, telecoms, and strategic land advice.

The Role
As a Senior Rural Surveyor, you will:
- Deliver a wide range of rural professional services to a diverse client base
- Undertake RICS Red Book valuations and property appraisals
- Manage agricultural, commercial, and residential property and estate portfolios
- Provide advice on landlord and tenant matters, compensation claims, servitudes, and wayleaves
- Advising on renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, battery storage)
- Support strategic land management advice for private and public sector clients
- Contribute to estate management activities across rural holdings
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
- Work across natural capital, forestry, and sporting interests where required
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality consultancy services
Senior Rural Surveyor Requirements
- MRICS or AssocRICS qualified
- FAAV qualification desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in rural surveying, estate management, or land agency
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Letting Agent Registrar compliant qualification is desirable
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
