We're recruiting for a Block Manager in Kensington to join a successful and expanding property business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced block management professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio while working within a supportive and forward‑thinking team.
The Role
- Develop effective working relationships with Block Directors, Residents/Leaseholders, Landlords/Tenants, Contractors and others through phone, email & face to face liaison
- Carry out inspections, ensuring Health Safety and compliance are maintained
- Resolve block‑related issues
- Sourcing contractors to undertake both ongoing and one‑off maintenance works, as well as emergency repairs, and monitoring and managing their work
- Deal with enquiries and analyse leases in order to answer enquiries and ensure that lease compliance is maintained
- Provide accurate, meaningful and effective information to all parties in a timely manner
Block Manager Requirements
- ARLA or equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in block management
- Understanding of leasehold and property management legislation
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and solution‑focused approach
- Commitment to delivering high levels of client care
- Commercial awareness and a focus on operational efficiency
