The Role

  • Working closely with the Managing Director and other senior directors, responsible for producing SHE standards, strategy and delivery.
  • Recruited and developed the SHE team.
  • Develop utilities sectors and SHE business plans.
  • Established procedures to meet business Safety Health and Environment (SHE) plan projections.
  • Managing the corporate SHE improvement programme.
  • Developing, mentoring and leading SHE teams on projects throughout the UK.
  • Introduction of monthly SHE dashboards for the business and all projects.
  • Providing HSE strategies to support winning tenders on large projects.
  • Maintaining core corporate SHEQ and additional certification across all the sectors.

Skills Required

  • Proven HSE background.
  • Tier 1/2 infrastructure contractor background (ideally utilities).
  • Strategic leadership of business unit or function.
