I have an immediate requirement for a Support Analyst for my client based in Grimsby. Work for a nationally recognised client, this is an important need to be filled as soon as possible.

Objective: Reporting to the head of IT, this role will form part of a small in-house IT Support Team. The IT Support Team provides both maintenance and new releases to existing applications used by the business as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Embed a robust help desk support service to the business with the appropriate IT tool
  • Support in resolving help desk calls
  • First port of support for the phone systems
  • First port of call for building PCs / connecting printers / setting up new mobiles
  • Document both existing and new IT support processes
  • Working with the business to provide support in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
  • To carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and themselves, in compliance with current legislation and Company Health & Safety procedures
  • To undertake any reasonable request as directed by your Line Manager

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of help desk/customer support
  • Basic knowledge of IT in general, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Applications, Networking, Mobile Technologies
  • Basic understanding of phone systems
  • Proficient in use of MS Office systems
