I have an immediate need for a Lead Magento Developer for my e-commerce client based in South Manchester. The organisation is a very forward-thinking company allowing vast flexibility. You will be the main technical lead across the whole Magento portfolio, which includes existing clients but also new greenfield projects. The role will not only involve leading the development team but will also require getting hands-on with code. The role is suited to a Senior Developer who is looking to take the step up or a bona fide Lead Developer.
Skills Required:
- Digital Agency experience in Magento 2 (Latest version 2.3.1 preferred)
- Experience of working with Magento Cloud
- A confident and proactive self-starter
- Someone that has no problem speaking directly to clients
- Understanding problems, requirements and turning those into solutions
- Experience of extending the Magento Bulk API framework and/or creating custom API endpoints would be highly advantageous
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise work based on team objectives
- Experience of working with offshore development teams in different time zones
- Sound understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Experience with SVN and confident using Git for version control
- Experience working with CMS packages
- Understanding of component-based development to ensure reusability and extendibility
