I have an immediate need for a Digital Delivery Lead (Project Manager) on a fully remote basis.

The Digital Delivery Lead is accountable for the successful delivery of digital products and services within a cross-functional agile team. This role ensures smooth execution by managing delivery plans, risks, blockers, and resource alignment, while supporting budget oversight and indirect people management.

The heart of the role

• Agile Delivery : Establish and maintain agile ways of working, driving a continuous improvement culture and promoting shift-left/self-serve approaches.
• Planning & Prioritisation : Collaborate with Product Managers and business leads to align technology delivery with business goals. Own the product roadmap, balancing workload, dependencies, and team capacity.
• Execution : Oversee the release of new features, manage risks and escalations, and balance the delivery of features, fixes, and technical debt reduction.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure adherence to technical standards and lead initiatives for service and process improvements.
• Financial & Risk Management : Contribute to budgeting, monitor delivery against financial plans, and ensure risk mitigations are in place within the defined risk appetite.

Core Skillset

• In-depth knowledge with significant experience in their accountable area, contributing to both functional strategy and delivering business objectives.
• Experience in delivering a mixed portfolio of projects and products.
• Proven experience challenging behaviours and ways of working within an organisation.
• Proven experience of working with multiple delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
• Proven experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience of coaching people in agile best practices.
• Experience of developing products and services across multiple teams.
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organisation.
• Strong track record of delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills required to build, mediate and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Has an in-depth knowledge of and is able to deliver using lean/agile and other methodologies.
• Detailed technology, market knowledge and customer understanding relevant to the role.
• Responsible for understanding, managing & communicating with complex stakeholder areas, balancing priorities.
• Forms close working relationships with Business functions in order to understand business strategy, plans and priorities.

The role is paying £55-59k + benefits and is truly remote.
