We are working with a global leader in legal technology that is transforming how law firms operate through cutting-edge AI and cloud platforms. They are looking for a Manager of Systems Engineering to lead a high-performing platform team, focused on building and scaling secure, reliable cloud infrastructure in Azure. This is a remote UK-based role with occasional meetups in Manchester or London, offering a strong mix of hands-on engineering (50%) and team leadership (50%), managing a team of 6-7 engineers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a distributed engineering team focused on platform reliability and scalability
- Driving SRE best practices (SLOs, automation, observability, incident management)
- Partnering with product, security, and engineering teams to shape infrastructure strategy
- Improving CI/CD, developer experience, and system performance
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
