At GBUK, we're growing, and we're looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager who thrives in a busy operational environment and genuinely enjoys leading people. This isn't a role for someone who prefers sitting behind a desk. We're looking for someone who's visible on the warehouse floor, builds relationships quickly, solves problems before they become issues, and motivates a team to deliver their best every day.

What you'll be doing:
- Working alongside our Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of a fast-paced warehouse operation, ensuring we deliver exceptional service whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
- Leading and motivating warehouse teams across Goods In, Dispatch, Inventory and Returns.
- Looking after a team of around 23 operatives and senior operatives who will report directly to you.
- Supporting performance through coaching, training and development.
- Driving productivity whilst maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Managing stock accuracy and operational performance.
- Championing health and safety across the warehouse.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make things better every day.
- Working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service and Quality teams to keep everything running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous warehouse supervisory or management experience.
- Is confident leading teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Can build trust, motivate people and bring positive energy to the workplace.
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys solving operational challenges.
- Understands warehouse KPIs, stock control and operational performance.
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience within medical devices, healthcare or another regulated industry.
- IOSH or other Health & Safety qualifications.
- “Lean” or Continuous Improvement experience.
