We are looking for a driven, commercially minded and clinically credible Clinical Sales Specialist to join our growing Vascular Division. The Role
As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across your territory while acting as a trusted product expert for our vascular access portfolio. You’ll work closely with clinicians, procurement teams, IV specialists and key decision-makers to identify opportunities, support product adoption, deliver education, and build long-term partnerships. This is a varied role combining sales success, account development, clinical education and strategic territory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Growth
- Deliver and exceed territory sales targets and growth objectives
- Develop and execute strategic territory/account plans
- Identify and convert opportunities within NHS and healthcare accounts
- Support product evaluations, conversions, tenders and contract implementation
- Build strong relationships with clinical and commercial stakeholders
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maximise opportunities
- Deliver product demonstrations, training and troubleshooting support
- Lead clinical evaluations, product rollouts and conversions
- Provide venepuncture and cannulation education sessions
- Ensure customers feel confident and competent using products
- Support clinical implementation projects that improve outcomes
- Build trusted partnerships across contracted accounts
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and reviews
- Identify new departments, influencers and growth pathways
- Deliver exceptional customer service and responsive support
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reporting
- Produce sales forecasts, training records and market insights
- Manage diary, travel and territory planning effectively
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with clinical credibility.
- Clinical background (nursing, vascular access, IV therapy or similar) or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience managing accounts and/or developing territories
- Strong presentation, training and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of NHS structures and procurement pathways
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Vascular access / infusion therapy experience
- Proven healthcare / medical device sales success
- Experience supporting product launches or conversions
- Clinical educator or specialist support experience
- Degree in Life Sciences, Business or related subject
