GBUK Group is a rapidly growing medical device organisation, recognised as a top 20 NHS supplier, with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and partnership working.
We are now looking for an experienced Area Business Manager to join our Vascular Division, covering the North West territory. Candidates must live within the territory, with Manchester or Liverpool being the ideal locations.
The role
You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of NHS hospital accounts, selling GBUK's vascular product range and working closely with clinical and procurement stakeholders across the hospital. This is a true territory management role where success comes from:
- Building strong, long-term relationships
- Understanding clinical pathways and decision-making
- Developing and executing a clear account and product strategy
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets across the territory
- Identify and develop opportunities within existing and new NHS accounts
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and KOLs
- Lead the sales process from product introduction and evaluation through to contract negotiation
- Analyse market and competitor activity to inform territory strategy
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and reporting
- Represent GBUK professionally at customer meetings, events, and internal forums
About you
- Proven commercial sales experience (minimum 5 years), ideally within medical devices or NHS-facing healthcare sales
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement, and decision-making
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
- Comfortable managing a large territory and working autonomously
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Must live within the territory (Manchester or Liverpool preferred)
