As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Product Specialist to join our Care and Independence team.
The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clinicians, therapists and healthcare professionals to deliver tailored solutions that genuinely improve patients' quality of life. As a Product Specialist, you will become the trusted expert within your territory, providing assessments, demonstrations, training and clinical support while developing strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities for business growth. You’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Manual Handling Leads, Clinical Teams and end users, helping to ensure the right equipment is specified to meet individual patient needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting patient and equipment assessments, identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Delivering product demonstrations and training sessions to healthcare professionals and end users
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships based on trust, expertise and excellent service
- Acting as the primary point of contact between GBUK, clinicians, customers and end users
- Preparing quotations, equipment specifications and responding proactively to customer enquiries
- Supporting customers through the assessment and procurement process
- Identifying new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to support product development and new business initiatives
- Providing valuable market and customer feedback to help shape future products and services
- Managing your own diary and territory to maximise customer engagement and service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll be welcomed into patients’ homes and trusted to support them at important moments in their care journey. As such, you’ll possess excellent communication skills, empathy and the ability to quickly establish meaningful relationships with patients, carers and clinical teams. You’ll have considerable experience in a customer‑facing, sales, clinical support or assessment‑based role. A strong understanding of the social care, community healthcare or acute healthcare sectors will be required. You will have a background in conducting assessments, problem‑solving and recommending appropriate solutions. A proactive, organised and self‑motivated approach is essential for success in this role. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight stays is required. You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office, CRM programmes and technology platforms. Any experience within patient handling, disability equipment, moving and handling, rehabilitation or related healthcare sectors would be a distinct advantage.
Ideal locations would include, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley, Bristol, Swindon, Salisbury, Rotherham, Salford, Preston etc.
