We’re hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the Vascular Division. This position is remote and field-based in the North of England.

As we continue to expand our Vascular portfolio, we are seeking a driven and commercially astute Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth and strengthen our presence across the region. In this role, you will deploy the UK sales strategy alongside a counterpart Regional Sales Manager via the Area Business Managers and grow UK sales in line with the budget. Additionally, you will identify new revenue streams within the UK along with NPD deployment.
What will you be focusing on?
- Delivering consistent year-on-year growth for the GBUK Vascular business area, in line with UK sales targets.
- Commercially analyse GBUK key markets, growth, margin and opportunities and use this information to develop the GBUK sales strategy alongside the Senior Leadership Team.
- Accountability for pricing, pricing proposals, rebates and tender success.
- Work closely with Key Accounts where the biggest market opportunity is.
- Identify, build and develop a network of key customer contacts.
- Lead and motivate the Area Business Managers to achieve their goals and targets and regularly attend key meetings with them.
- Carry out quarterly reviews with the ABMs as well as conducting quarterly team meetings.
- Provide detailed reports to the National Sales Manager, to inform future strategy and key business decisions.
- Further nurture our relationship with our NHS Supply Chain framework managers as well as more senior stakeholders.
- Work with purchasing on forecasting new business with overall responsibility for stock holding for new product ranges and new accounts.
- Achieve budget on key product categories.
- Continually review and improve the sales process.
- Identifying ways to grow market share while maintaining healthy margins.
- Assess market needs and follow trends in the business to anticipate future developments.
- Working alongside the National Clinical Training manager to ensure excellence in GBUK’s value-added service.
What will you bring to GBUK?
If you are a high energy sales professional who understands how to deliver growth in a clinical, evidence-driven environment, please reach out for a confidential discussion. You will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in Engineering, Life-science or Business as well as having circa 3 years’ minimum sales management experience.
Additionally, you will have thorough knowledge of the NHS competitive marketplace, a strong understanding of clinical selling and stakeholder mapping, and you will be confident delivering training and mentorship to a team. Exposure to the NHS framework and tender process and experience within vascular access, infusion therapy or critical care would also be extremely advantageous.
