About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, driven Area Sales Manager to join our high-performing Wound Management sales team. You’ll play a key role in driving growth across NHS Acute settings as well as Primary Care, partnering with Procurement Teams, Category Leads, Tissue Viability Nurses, and Theatre Teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for patients and the NHS. If you have experience selling into NHS community or care NHS hospitals, this is an incredible opportunity to take the next step in your commercial career with one of the UK’s most forward-thinking medical device companies.
What You’ll Do
- Promote and sell GBUK’s innovative wound management portfolio across South East England
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key clinical and procurement stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across NHS and private sectors
- Deliver engaging product training and clinical support to healthcare professionals
- Execute the full sales cycle, from introduction and evaluation to implementation
- Gather market intelligence and contribute to strategic planning
- Achieve or exceed sales targets while enhancing GBUK’s brand reputation
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ commercial sales experience
- Proven understanding of the NHS marketplace and procurement processes
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
- Adaptability, self-motivation, and a growth mindset
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience selling into theatres or wound care
- Engagement with NHS procurement or formulary submissions
- Experience working with Tissue Viability Nurses
- Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Confident use of Excel and CRM systems
