GBUK Group is a fast-growing, highly respected medical device organisation, recognised as a top 20 NHS supplier. We are known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and strong clinical partnerships that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Due to continued growth within our Patient Temperature Management division, we are expanding our specialist sales team and are looking for two experienced Area Business Managers: one covering the North of England, and another covering the South.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential territory, selling a market-leading portfolio of patient temperature management solutions. Our range includes warming blankets and suits, neonatal and paediatric warming systems, the AstopadTM product range, wearable solutions, and capital equipment such as the BlanketrolTM Hyper-Hypothermia System.

You will work predominantly within the NHS, building strong, value-driven relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, and key decision-makers. Alongside new business development, you will play a critical role in clinical education, product training, and ongoing account management, areas that have been, so far, central to GBUK's success in Patient Temperature Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of NHS hospital accounts across your territory
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Deliver against sales targets while maintaining GBUK's reputation for quality and partnership
  • Understand clinical pathways and decision-making processes within the NHS
  • Create and execute clear account plans and territory strategies
  • Identify, track, and capitalise on tender opportunities
  • Drive growth within existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities
  • Deliver product training and support to healthcare professionals
  • Lead the full sales process—from product introduction and evaluation through to negotiation and close
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting

About You:

We are looking for a motivated, commercially driven individual who thrives in a relationship-led sales environment.

  • Proven track record in sales (ideally within medical devices or NHS/healthcare)
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement, and decision-making processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage a large territory independently
  • Passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory
  • Must be based within the region (e.g. Manchester, Leeds, York, Liverpool, Chester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln etc)

Why Join GBUK Group?

  • Be part of a growing, innovative company making a real difference in patient care
  • Work in a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing sales environment
  • Competitive salary and benefits package with strong performance incentives
  • Ongoing training, development, and clear career progression pathways
  • A values-led culture with a genuine focus on doing the right thing
  • Over 90% of leadership roles are filled through internal promotion
