A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing Vascular Division, taking ownership of a high-potential territory across the Midlands.

The Opportunity:
As Area Sales Manager, you will lead territory growth across our specialist vascular portfolio, partnering with NHS hospitals and healthcare professionals to deliver clinically effective solutions that improve patient care. You will identify opportunities, influence key decision-makers, manage complex sales cycles, and convert opportunities into long-term commercial success. This is an autonomous field-based role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, creating momentum, and consistently delivering results.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver and exceed territory sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives
- Develop and execute a clear territory business plan for the Midlands region
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across NHS trusts and hospital departments
- Grow existing accounts through strategic account development and relationship management
- Build strong partnerships with clinicians, procurement teams, and key stakeholders
- Lead product evaluations, presentations, tenders, and commercial negotiations
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline
- Monitor market activity, competitor movement, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise customer success and territory growth
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, and events

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven field-sales experience with a strong track record of delivering results
- Skilled in territory planning, opportunity management, and closing deals

- Full UK driving licence and based in the Midlands (e.g. Birmingham, Oxford, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicester, Coventry, Warwick, Northampton etc.)
- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Commercially focused and target led
- Resilient, adaptable, and proactive
- Growth mindset with a solutions-focused approach
- High integrity and accountability, organised, energetic, and professional
Desirable:
- Medical device sales experience
- Knowledge of vascular products or related therapy areas
