We are now looking for an ambitious Area Business Manager, Enteral Specialist to help accelerate growth and strengthen our market-leading position. The Role:
- As an Area Business Manager, you will take full ownership of your territory, driving revenue growth through strategic account development, competitive conversion, and new business wins across healthcare settings, predominantly within the NHS.
- You’ll sell a specialist portfolio including Enteral products, Chyme Reinfusion, Bowel Management, Women’s Health and Maternity solutions.
- Success in this role will come from high activity levels, disciplined territory management, excellent relationship building, and a relentless focus on results.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Sales Growth & Territory Performance:
- Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Achieve weekly and monthly KPI activity metrics
- Identify, target and win new business opportunities
- Grow existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Convert competitor business through strong value-led selling
- Manage pricing, margins and product mix strategically
- Account Development:
- Build trusted relationships with: Consultants, Ward Managers, Procurement Teams
- Map decision makers, influencers and referral networks
- Identify upcoming tenders and commercial opportunities
- Lead product evaluations, trials and contract discussions
- Territory Management:
- Build and execute robust territory business plans across key centres such as Hull, Leeds, Newcastle, North Lincolnshire, Sheffield, Teesside, York etc)
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insight
- Represent the business at exhibitions, congresses and industry events
About You…
We are looking for elite-level sales talent with the drive, resilience and professionalism to perform in a competitive healthcare market.
- Minimum 2 years’ successful B2B or medical sales experience
- Consistent track record of high-performance vs target
- Strong understanding of the NHS or complex consultative selling environments
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated and organised
- Full UK driving licence and based within territory (for example, Newcastle, Leeds, York, Hull, Lincoln, Sheffield, Middlesborough, Durham etc.)
- Strong CRM and digital literacy
- Previous medical devices or healthcare sales experience
- Clinical background
- Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering or similar
