The opportunity for you
We’re now on the lookout for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help support our transition to SaaS and define our cloud operating environment. In your role as Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll work closely with Architecture and Product teams with an opportunity to make significant contributions. You’ll be joining a diverse team in an Australian based company and collaborate with a high performing team.
What you will do:
- Working with a solution architect, to design, implement, and maintain our AWS solutions
- Deploying and managing development changes with product engineer teams
- Locating environment errors and issues
- Managing tools and testing environments
- Develop automation scripts for upkeep, detection, and remediation of cloud health
- Ensuring the Cloud environment remains protected, secure and compliant
- Helping to drive the strategic direction on Cloud Service Operations
- Working closely with the Product team to improve the running of the overall service
You will be someone with:
- AWS DevOps Engineer Certification
- Experience with AWS, including services like EC2, IAM, RDS, EKS, VPC etc
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation
- Experience with scripting and automation and comfortable programming in languages like Bash, Go or Python
- Proven experience with build, automation and development tools e.g. Git, Packer, Jenkins
- Experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Kibana
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science, or related field
You will ideally have these Skills too:
- Experience in delivering DevSecOps
- Driving DevOps capability by increasing the frequency of change
- Multi Region Deployments
- Blue / Green Deployments
