We’re now on the lookout for a Network DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated network solutions across our global infrastructure. You’ll join our Technology team, working on innovative projects that support our hybrid cloud environment and drive automation and security. In your role as Network DevOps Engineer, you’ll ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems, leveraging DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations. You’ll be joining a global, diverse team in an Australian-based company and collaborate with cloud engineers, security teams, and application owners to deliver robust solutions. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in London.

What U will do:
- Architect and deploy network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Configure and manage AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect).
- Set up and manage AWS Application Load Balancers / Network Load Balancers.
- Deploy and manage Nginx Ingress Controller within Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure AWS Web Application Firewall with CloudFront, ALB, and API Gateway.
- Design and implement AWS Transit Gateway for scalable connectivity.
- Manage AWS PrivateLink for secure service-to-service communication.
- Implement and maintain Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Design and manage network segmentation using AWS Network Firewall.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls for perimeter and east-west traffic control.
- Apply network policies and leverage service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd).
- Ensure compliance with organisational security policies and industry standards.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Optimise network configurations for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams and maintain accurate documentation.
- Respond to security alerts, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
U will be someone with:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53).
- Hands‑on experience with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA).
- Proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Terraform desirable).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- (Desirable) AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Zscaler Certified Professional.
- Experience with SD‑WAN solutions and cloud‑based security models.
- Basic understanding of SSO and identity protocols (OIDC, SAML2).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh technologies.
