Mobile Patrol Guard – Weekends
Location: Donington, Lincolnshire PE11 4TA

Part Time: Saturday & Sunday, 07:00 – 19:00
Salary: £12.34 per hour

Responsibilities

  • GENERAL
    • Comply with the Mobile Patrol Handbook guidelines at all times.
    • Follow Assignment Instructions at all times.
    • Undertake all duties required of a Guard to ensure the safety and security of any site attended.
    • Manage risks and incidents as required, in accordance with available health & safety information.
    • Providing a polite, professional, and effective security service to our customers.
    • Wear the provided uniform and equipment at all times, keeping this clean and tidy.
  • DAILY
    • Complete a vehicle inspection at the beginning of each shift, logging the results on the vehicle check app on the tablet provided.
    • Take reasonable care to safeguard the vehicle and keys.
    • Clean and tidy the vehicle inside and outside at the end of each shift.
  • IN THE EVENT OF AN INCIDENT
    • Act in accordance with health & safety legislation and NSI standards at all times.
    • Liaison with the ARC, Police and Site Keyholders as required.
    • Complete incident reports when required.
  • COMMUNICATION
    • Ensure that check calls are completed no less than every 60 minutes, increasing to every 30 minutes when attending a site.
    • Book onto and off all sites with the ARC; keep the ARC updated on findings as appropriate.
    • Report all incidents, inaccuracies, and updates to site information to the Team Leader, Control Room Supervisor or Operations Manager as needed.
  • OTHER
    • Undertake training to ensure knowledge remains up to date.
    • Observe all safety rules and procedures, ensuring that the working environment, equipment, and materials are left in a safe state; and that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of all fellow employees and any other persons within the working environment.
    • Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g., reduction of waste, recycling etc.
    • Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company.
    • Such other duties as required for proper fulfilment of the role.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a SIA Security Guard Licence, Door Supervision Licence or Close Protection Licence.
  • Willing to undertake CCTV Licence training if requested (this will be paid for by the company) and to work in the ARC.
  • Possess and maintain a full, clean driving licence.
  • Able to display a positive culture.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work alone, but in regular contact with the ARC.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and report inaccuracies so that continuous improvement is maintained.

Desirable Requirements

  • Have previous customer service experience.
  • First Aid trained.
  • Possess an understanding of the relevant Standards and Legislation.
  • Have lone working experience or an understanding of standards and processes to be followed.
