The Role
The Junior Social Media Content Creator will support the development of engaging content across digital platforms, assist in maintaining brand consistency, and contribute fresh ideas to help grow our online presence. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, experiment, and develop their content creation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop short-form videos, graphics, and other multimedia content.
- Support the planning and scheduling of social media posts using content calendars.
- Conduct basic research to support content development, competitor audits and trend analyses to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Help monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and tone.
- Assist in planning and executing content campaigns across social media, email, and website platforms.
- Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos during events, product launches, and team activities.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, views) and support weekly or monthly reporting.
- Brainstorm ideas for new content formats, trends, and series to keep channels fresh and engaging.
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries (photos, videos, graphics).
- Assist with basic scriptwriting for short videos or promotional content.
- Ensure all content is optimized for mobile viewing and platform best practices.
- Participate in content reviews and implement feedback from senior creatives.
- Support in proofreading and formatting blog posts or written materials before publication.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for stories, announcements, or project highlights.
About You
- Basic experience in content creation (internships, coursework, personal projects, or portfolio).
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to grammar and storytelling.
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Basic photo and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, etc.).
- Ability to generate creative ideas and translate them into engaging content.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and receive constructive feedback.
