The Role
The Junior Data Analyst within the Sales and Marketing team plays a vital part in supporting data-driven decision-making, enhancing recruitment strategies, and maximising student conversion rates through actionable insights and performance reporting. A key focus will also be supporting the forecasting of future student numbers, providing valuable input for resource allocation, strategic planning, and financial forecasting across the institution.
What The Role Involves
- Collect, clean, and analyse data related to student applications, outreach initiatives, Recruitment and Marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, conversion metrics, and support future student number forecasting.
- Collaborate with recruitment officers, marketing teams, and external partners to align data insights with strategic goals.
- Assist in forecasting future student enrolment figures to support institutional planning and financial modelling.
- Work closely with finance and planning teams to align recruitment data with long term budget and resource planning needs.
- Present insights through visual reports and deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience in a data technician, junior analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to interpret and present complex datasets in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
