Overview
Customer Service Officer – Stratford (30 Hours) – Permanent / Part-time (30 hours). Location: Stratford-East London. Department: BIU & Customer Services. This role involves providing high quality student administration and one-stop shop student advice on campus, in collaboration with Facilities, Welfare and IT, to ensure a smooth and positive student experience at GBS.
This is a 4 days per week role with shift patterns:
- Wednesday: 10:30am-7:00pm
- Thursday: 10:30am-7:00pm
- Friday: 1:00pm-7:00pm
- Saturday: 10:30am-7:00pm
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship!
Main responsibilities
- Provide high quality student administration and a \’one-stop shop\’ student advice service on campus in collaboration with other operational teams.
- Respond to enquiries from students, providing detailed information about available support.
- Apply sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information and refer more complex issues to specialist staff.
- Respond promptly and accurately to email, phone, and in-person enquiries.
- Work flexibly as part of the Customer Services Team and be available for occasional evening and weekend work as required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft systems and general IT applications; ability to leverage technology to improve productivity and inclusivity.
- Ability to work to established KPIs and Service Level Agreements, delivering high-quality outcomes.
