Join the Estates & Facilities team at Global Banking School (GBS) as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You’ll maintain, install, and refurbish building fabric and equipment across our UK campus portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient learning environments. This hands-on role combines planned and preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and support for refurbishment projects, with occasional out-of-hours work to minimise disruption.
What you’ll do:
- Planned & reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems
- General trades: plumbing, electrical fittings, carpentry, decorating
- Inspections (HVAC, lighting, fire interfaces), PAT, fire door & Legionella checks
- Support refurbishments, installations, and campus upgrades
- Accurate records, stock control, and safe systems of work
What you’ll bring:
- City & Guilds Level 2/3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent NVQ/experience)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Proven M&E/building maintenance background, including HVAC
- Hands-on, proactive, flexible approach
- COSHH/H&S awareness and a full UK driving licence
