What We Do: The HR Operations & Compliance team ensures that all HR processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with legal and organisational requirements.
The role: The Systems and Analytics Officer is responsible for the human resource information systems and ERP that support the human resource function of GBS. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the Unit 4 ERP – human resource system. You will be responsible for ensuring that GBS and leadership are provided with the relevant HR/KPI metrics and analytics dashboards that help to inform strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- To prepare and analyse people data, delivering clear and structured reporting that provides valuable insights, recognises trends, and identifies areas where further reporting is required.
- Responsible for entering all new staff recruitment, leaver, and staff changes data to the Unit 4 HRIS system.
- Test and maintain all necessary workflows within the ERP system to ensure the efficient administration of the people function.
- Ensure that all the correct documents are uploaded to the ERP system to complement the onboarding and people management functions.
- Ensure that all the data is secure and is accessible by the people team.
- Audit the ERP regularly and ensure that staff are recorded in the relevant locations and company entities.
- Maintain the company's organogram.
- Provide the required monthly people metric reports that track the department’s KPIs.
- Interpret all data that is reported on and combine the data with wider organisational data sets to influence and contribute towards strategic decision making.
- Create a people management reporting dashboard to produce metrics in an easy-to-read fashion.
- Provide the organisation with the relevant people data reports when requested.
- Ensure that the relevant HR officers/manager in all campuses and locations are competent enough to interact with the ERP system.
- Ensure that all new starters are competent enough to engage and use the ERP system.
- Ensure that they update and utilise the self-service elements of the ERP.
- Take an analytical consulting approach to people issues.
- Interpret and explore business problems using people data.
- Making sure data is reported in a transparent, accessible and usable way, advising HR business partners on the best course of action.
About you:
- Degree qualified or relevant equivalent experience.
- CIPD level 3 or 5 or/and relevant experience.
- Experience using HRIS databases.
- Proven ability to identify and implement improvements in systems and processes.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently.
- Expert technical HR knowledge essential.
- High-quality written and verbal communication.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Pro-active noticing and taking action.
- Interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with a wide variety of people.
- IT and database literacy with the ability to quickly pick up new systems.
- Ability to work across the business with a variety of stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
