What We Do: Developing and writing quality reports both internally for GBS and for GBS partner organisations and other external agencies. To contribute to preparations for degree awarding powers.
About the Role: Your work in the Academic Quality department plays a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the academic experience across GBS. Your work will support high standards, continuous improvement, and positive outcomes for students at every stage of their studies. As an Academic Quality Officer, you will support the Academic Standards and Quality Office in ensuring that GBS, and its awarding partners uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, compliance, and quality assurance. You’ll help implement and monitor quality systems and policies across our programmes, produce high-quality reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the student experience. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in shaping the academic journey of thousands of students across the UK and beyond. We’re looking for a detail-driven Academic Quality Officer to support quality assurance, policy implementation, and continuous improvement in partnership with our awarding bodies.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent application of partner and GBS quality policies.
- Produce high-quality reports for internal and external audiences.
- Support audits, assessment processes and student casework procedures.
- Drive enhancements through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as secretary to GBS boards and committees, preparing agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Deliver data-driven reports, analysing both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform strategic decision-making.
