To support students and applicants with their Student Funding applications, contacting students, scheduling online meetings, updating records and responding to enquiries relating to student funding and eligibility criteria.
To provide a high level of customer care throughout the academic year.
WORKING PATTERN:
Monday - Friday 3pm to 8pm
Saturday 10am to 3pm
Sunday (Only During enrolment periods)
Please note, working pattern is subject to change during the busy periods.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all students receive full support for their student finance application before and after the course starts by providing prompt and accurate advice to their enquiries.
- Assist students in making their applications to Student Finance via online or paper application forms.
- Manage Student Finance enquiries related to undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment for courses offered by GBS.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve student’s queries.
- Respond to student’s queries via email and SysAid ticketing system.
The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the changing needs of GBS. The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by their Line manager.
Requirements
- A high degree of computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office Excel).
- Background in Student Finance is desirable but not essential.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and disciplined individual with good communication, listening and organizational skills.
- Effective time management and planning.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to think outside the box.
