GBRS are currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work with our client in Weston-Super-Mare. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse financial data to provide valuable insights. This role involves a variety of critical tasks related to managing accounts and projects, financial reporting, purchase orders, making payments (business and prize winners), and credit card reconciliation, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key finance responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, expenses and purchase orders.
- Managing the financial records and transactions of the organisation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting financial decision-making processes.
- Manage efficient credit control, optimising cash flow, reducing potential for bad debt and communicating with clients/internal colleagues over issues with sales invoices such as invoice currency, address and purchase order discrepancies.
- Reconcile payments to projects and identify and resolve discrepancies and thus ensure project budgets and proposals are matched by actual costings.
- Collaborate with the accountants to provide timely and accurate financial statements that are properly filed and compliant with company policies.
