Overview:

We are looking for a curious, organised and client-focused Research & Client Executive to join our team working on Barb, the UK’s gold-standard TV and video audience measurement service, delivered by Fifty5Blue. Barb provides the industry with trusted audience data covering broadcast TV, subscription video on demand, broadcaster video on demand and video-sharing platforms, based on a nationally representative panel of 7,000 households. It is one of the most advanced audience measurement services in the world and sits at the heart of decision-making for broadcasters, advertisers and media owners. This role offers strong development opportunities and is well suited to people at the early stages of their career, or looking to build experience in TV, streaming, video and data-driven media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client queries about audience data and programme log submissions
  • Investigate data queries, identify potential issues and work through solutions
  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts when needed
  • Clearly communicate data issues, changes and delays to clients
  • Track and manage multiple queries simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution
  • Help maintain high standards of data quality and client service
  • Build strong working relationships with broadcasters and industry stakeholders
  • Support the Client Service Manager with panel engagement activities

You will be supported by experienced colleagues but encouraged to develop the ability to investigate and resolve queries independently over time.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
  • An interest in TV, streaming, video and digital media
  • A logical, curious mindset and comfort working with numbers or data
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • A willingness to learn and take ownership of queries
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under time pressure
  • An understanding of audience measurement, research methods or media data would be beneficial, but is not essential.
