Specialising in audience measurement, consumer targeting and in-depth intelligence into paid, owned and earned media, their global coverage and local expertise enable better understanding of media audiences and their relationships with brands.
This is a full-time permanent position, based in our London office. We operate on a hybrid working arrangement and require a minimum of 1 day in the office. Fifty5Blue are looking for an exceptional Business Development Consultant who shares our passion for commercial insight, and the impact it has on our clients' creative and commercial success. Your role is a key member of the TGI New Business Development Team, reporting directly to the Head of New Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities through targeted desk research, market mapping and proactive lead generation.
- Lead outbound prospecting across calls, email, LinkedIn and sales engagement tools.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers to create and accelerate new business opportunities.
- Partner closely with Marketing to manage Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
- Ensure timely follow-up and effective progression of leads through the pipeline.
- Qualify prospects effectively and prioritise high-potential opportunities.
- Turn data into compelling, insight-led stories that clearly demonstrate client value.
- Use those stories to support client growth and strengthen commercial conversations.
- Support the TGI Business Development Team with sales presentations, insight runs and proposal writing.
- Contribute to lead research and wider new business activity to help convert opportunities.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the deal process through to close.
- Capture feedback from prospects and customers to inform internal thinking.
- Share insight that helps strengthen propositions and improve go-to-market effectiveness.
- Deliver against annual targets and KPIs.
- Consistently contribute to pipeline growth and new business performance.

- Previous experience in a professional environment is preferred, ideally within media, research, consulting or a similar sector.
- A genuine interest in media, advertising and the evolving digital data landscape.
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills.
- A people person who enjoys building relationships, both virtually and in person.
- Confident using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- A consultative approach with clients, combining strong listening skills with confident presentation skills.
- A self-starter who actively looks for opportunities to learn and develop.
