At SD Government, a division of Gogo, the Sales Operations Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting our global sales team. This position oversees core sales operations across Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific where we support governments and militaries across all airborne operations. Beyond regional responsibilities, this role will also lead major initiatives in sales reporting and process management across the entire SD Government division.

The ideal candidate brings experience in Sales, Revenue, and/or Business Operations and is motivated to drive growth and lead impactful change. We are seeking a driven, innovative professional to help define this newly created role. You will play a key part in shaping the structure and strategy of a global sales operations team, with the opportunity to bring your ideas to life.

How will you make a difference?

  • Cross-Functional Partner: Act as a strategic thought partner to Sales Leaders and cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Optimization and Clarity: Streamline the sales process by implementing standard methodologies and consistently improving key workflows.
  • Implementation: Identify education and tooling needs for the Sales team and collaborate with Sales Ops and cross-functional partners to address them.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data and market intelligence to generate insights that inform decisions and strategy.
  • Sales Strategy: Define commercial tactics and performance benchmarks to grow revenue, customers, and sales productivity.
  • Sales Guidance: Lead and support projects that span incentives, Salesforce hygiene, workflow optimization, tooling adoption, and process improvements.
  • Multi-tasking: Manage multiple initiatives at once, ensuring clear milestones, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery.
  • Market Analysis: Identify market opportunities and prioritise customer segments to address gaps.
  • Order Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of government sales orders, maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years’ experience in Sales/Business Operations, Consulting, Finance, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a fluent English speaker.
  • Global travel will be required; frequency may vary depending on business needs.
  • Must already be legally authorized to work and live in the UK or Australia.

  • Experienced with Salesforce CRM and BI tools (Tableau or PowerBI, CRM Analytics, and Reporting).
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new systems, and enjoy diving into varied challenges.
  • An independent problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and knows when to escalate or involve stakeholders.
  • Can build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with leadership and peers.
  • Has performed data analysis, program management, and process improvement.

Preferred Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Experience working in a hands-on, start-up, or scaling environment.
  • Exposure to or interest in Business Aviation or Government Aviation is a plus.
  • Fluent in multiple languages.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Base Pay: Based on experience and responsibilities.
  • Target Annual Short-Term Incentive: Not Eligible.
  • Eligible for Incentive Stock Program: Yes.
