GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a well established quality focused car & van dealership, recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work on both cars & vans. Purely working Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS.
You will be a Vehicle Technician that ideally has an NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance & repairs, plus a current MOT license, as well as being a qualified MOT tester, with widespread experience of working on varying different makes & models of cars & vans.
As a Vehicle Technician you will carry out all aspects of car servicing, MOT, carrying out diagnostics, plus general car repairs & maintenance works. This Vehicle Technician role is purely workshop based working within a team of 3 Vehicle Technicians & within a garage team of 8.
Key Vehicle Technician tasks include:- Working closely with the team and completing tasks as delegated by the General Manager
- All aspects of vehicle servicing work
- MOT work including MOT repairs
- Vehicle maintenance including but not limited to:
- Cambelt replacement
- Clutch replacement
- Engine work
- Diagnostic work and fault rectifying
- Interior work
- Brakes, steering, suspension etc.
- Tyre fitting including tracking
- Air conditioning re-gas and repairs
- Level 3 NVQ in maintenance and repair or equivalent
- Current MOT license and fully trained in motor vehicle technology
- Qualified MOT Tester with up-to-date training
- Diagnostic knowledge advantageous
- Able to supply own tools
