GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in exclusive partnership with a leading steel structures company based in Leicestershire recruiting for two experienced MIG Welder Fabricators to construct assemble mild steel stainless steel parts adhering to the set project specifications / technical drawings.
Key duties include: Reading working to technical engineering drawings Cutting / forming materials, grinding, bending using workshop machinery (e. g., press brakes, guillotines drills) Fabricating producing high-quality MIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel aluminium Performing MIG welding quality dimensional checks against set specifications.
Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on welding torches, gas lines, and fabrication tools.
Attributes: Proven experience in a MIG fabricator welder role, using mild stainless steel to produce bespoke builds.
Capability to work with and adjust techniques for mild steel, stainless steel aluminium works.
Current or previous coded welding certifications / time served welder High attention to detail with the ability to use precision measuring tools Used to working in a workshop happy to be workshop based.
