GBR Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading specialist vehicle & specialist plant machinery business, recruiting for an experienced

Vehicle Service Controller

, to join their vehicle servicing & maintenance team, working on a busy service desk.

Working Monday to Friday over a 40 hour week, in a permanent capacity.

Initially 5 days working in the office, then after probation 4 days in the office & 1 day working from home.

Duties

  • Answer incoming customer calls & respond to customer emails, to log maintenance requests, report breakdowns or required maintenance works
  • Responsible for scheduling the field service engineers’ day to day work
  • Booking service engineers to respond to customer calls, advising the customer on the likely timescales to complete the required works
  • Offer advice for minor technical queries & explain technical situations with customers in a user-friendly manner
  • Prioritise & coordinate customer requests.
  • Maximising the use of the engineer's
  • Ensure efficient delivery of SLA's, planned works & rework service jobs.
  • Make outgoing calls to follow up on service & maintenance quotations, plus checking that the customer is satisfied with the customer service given by the office & the field service engineer
