GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading construction company based in commutable distance of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire & South Yorkshire, recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to work on varying built environment projects worth from GBP100K's to multiple GBPM's.
You will be a contracts management professional who is used to delivering build projects OTIF to a set budget & to a high level of quality finish. You will ideally have main contractor & sub-contractor contract management experience, plus you will have led various types of projects, across industrial builds, commercial builds, housing, maintenance & refurbishments. You must be used to successfully project managing multiple projects at one time.
Duties:
- Putting together contract build programmes, procurement of subcontractor labour/services and putting together material schedules
- Issuing of project/contracts progress reports to the wider SMT/trades
- Working hand in hand with the wider project team including; Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Buyers and Health & Safety Manager
- Delivering build projects OTIF, to budget & to the quality required
- Ensuring that all health & safety regulations are maintained at all times
- Leading meetings with customers & internal departments
- Management of I.S.O quality assurance procedures for contracts
- Playing a key role in value engineering and construction methods to ensure that profit margins are achieved/exceeded on all projects
Attributes:
- Have a SMSTS and CSCS card (ideally)
- A track record of successfully delivering diverse construction projects.
- A strong business relationship builder with customers and suppliers
- Excellent communicator at all levels (including board level)
- Industrial, Commercial, Housing build experience
