- Carrying out engineering processes including ECR/ECN systems, BOMs, and project planning.
- Creating and maintaining timelines for strategic engineering projects (i.e. integrating new components onto the machinery, with a full breakdown on engineering costs and project delivery timings).
- Supporting sales and purchasing with accurate costing and quotations.
- Driving CI and product innovation (NPD, R&D, NPI).
- Working in close collaboration with the design engineers to ensure control system requirements are reflected in machinery designs.
- Compiling technical documentation and ensuring compliance.
- Supporting quality systems and ISO standards.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing Engineers in technical knowledge.
- Getting hands-on in the workshop or out in the field when required.
Attributes Required:
- Mechanical Systems (hydraulic, hydrostatic, pneumatic systems).
- Electrical and Electronic systems (CANBUS communication, general off-highway wiring principles).
- Experience within a technical engineering, design, and development environment within Agricultural machinery, Crop management machinery, Mobile Construction Plant machinery, Off Highway machinery, Specialist vehicles, or similar.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and NPD, R&D, NPI.
- Strong project engineering management skills.
- Ability to fault find and rectify technical issues in an efficient manner.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience).
Interviews are to take place immediately, and there is an opportunity to start in this role in August or September depending on individuals' notice periods. This key role could suit an engineering professional working as a Testing & Development Engineer, R&D Engineer, Precision Agriculture Engineer, NPD Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Design Engineer, Process Engineer, or Field Service Engineer.
