GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading Groundcare & Garden Machinery sales business, recruiting for an experienced customer-focused Ground Care Sales Executive / Sales Specialist to join their well-established & highly progressive ground care sales team. You will be highly passionate about turf & garden machinery, including robotic mowing solutions & enjoy a hands-on, customer-facing role, within a modern dealership showroom. You will utilise your strong ground care / gardening machinery technical knowledge & strong communication skills to successfully deliver sales across the companies full ground care range.
This role is responsible for ground care showroom sales of mowers & handheld tools, as well as delivering customer demonstrations & machinery / equipment handovers. You will also develop an understanding of commercial turf equipment to support professional walk-in enquiries. This is a key role ensuring total customer satisfaction & overall sales success across various product lines including ground care, gardening (ride on mowers etc), power tools, forestry products, landscaping products & more.
Duties:
- Deliver product sales & offer customer support for garden machinery & accessories
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers to obtain repeat business
- Conduct in branch & on-site demonstrations, delivering customer handover training
- Update CRM systems & follow the company sales processes
- Ensure machinery is invoiced before delivery to the customer
- Chase up any outstanding payments
- Attend ground care / gardening shows, exhibitions & customer events
- Sell & promote John Deere, Hayter, Honda, Husqvarna, Mountfield & Stihl products
- Assist in general depot duties, including stock checks, pricing & store presentation
Attributes:
- Some experience in ground care, landscaping & forestry equipment sales
- Customer focused, delivering high quality customer service & advice
- A solid understanding of garden machinery & industry practices
This key role is commutable from Beverley, Goole, Brough, Bridlington, Market Weighton, Pocklington, Selby, Pontefract, Snaith, Hull, Barton Upon Humber, South Ferriby & York, plus any villages close to these. The client will also consider individuals that are willing to relocate to one of the above areas. This is an awesome opportunity to join a market leader & to develop your career further.
