GBR Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Electrical Wholesaler based in Lincolnshire, exclusively recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Advisor (Electrical Specialist) to join the internal sales team. You will be the main point of contact for customers, providing advice, giving electrical products & components quotations, plus processing customer orders, liaising with them face-to-face, over the telephone & via email. This is a key internal electrical sales role, developing profitable business relationships, supporting branch sales targets (repeat customers & new), ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times, as the company prides itself in that. Duties: * Assist customers in a friendly & professional manner at the trade counter, over the telephone & via email. * Professionally handle customers electrical parts & products enquiries, process their orders, plus provide quotations promptly & accurately. * Advise customers on product selection, product availability & pricing, using your strong knowledge of electrical products & electrical product manufacturers. * Inform customers about any special electrical products offers, promotions, & in store loyalty programmes. * Successfully maintain & develop relationships with both existing & new customers to optimise electrical product sales, customer service, customer satisfaction, to ensure customer loyalty / repeat business. * Liaise with electrical product suppliers to negotiate best prices / special terms for large high volume orders & one-off orders. * Help the wider sales team produce project tenders & tender submissions. * Assist with stock management, including restocking shelves, checking deliveries & conducting electrical product stock checks. Attributes: * Strong trade counter / internal sales experience within an electrical wholesaler, MEP wholesaler or building products wholesaler * Strong electrical knowledge (A MUST) * Strong sales & 5 star customer service skills. * A strong negotiator with suppliers & customers. * Proficient in computerised sales/order systems. * Strong commercial acumen & used to hitting sales targets.
