GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a general construction / building services company in Lincolnshire, recruiting for an experienced Plasterer on a sub-contract basis to work on a variety of build projects across the county including renovations, extensions, HMO conversions, loft conversions, kitchen & bathroom fit outs, property repairs / maintenance and more.
Core duties:
- Surface preparation, preparing walls & ceilings by cleaning, plus levelling uneven areas.
- Plaster mixing to the right consistency.
- Applying one or more coats of plaster to walls & ceilings, creating a smooth & uniformed finish.
- Occasional external works, such as rendering to external walls.
- Plasterboard installation for partitions, covering & sealing any joints.
- Creating decorative features like cornices & architraves.
- Repairing cracks, holes, and other damage to existing plasterwork.
- Checking surfaces for levelness & an even finish before handover.
Attributes:
- Time-served Plastering professional.
- Level 3 qualified ideally (NVQ's, RFQ's, C&G's etc.).
- Willing to travel across Lincolnshire & occasionally into Nottinghamshire (anywhere within 1 hour of Lincoln).
- Experienced in Residential works.
- You will have your own Ltd or Sole Trader company or be working via an Umbrella company (self employed sub contract works).
