Paying £23 - £28 p/h negotiable depending on experience levels, normally 8 hour days. Standard working hours on this particular site will be 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work (enhanced payments for overtime).
You will be a sub-contract self-employed Electrician (CIS) who is happy to carry out the installation of containment, trunking & baskets. The first 5 weeks of this clean room installation project (a building within a building, as in a warehouse facility) is mainly containment fitting, followed by more complex wiring installations / 2nd fixing.
In this role, you must be able to install trapeze support systems & fit baskets, trays & metal trunking, plus have strong experience using Lindapter systems to hang the rods off the ceiling. This role is starting immediately in the Luton / Dunstable area.
Your qualifications will be fully up to date & to NVQ Level 3, ECS, AM2, IPAF, CSCS card etc. You will be a customer & quality focused Electrician who works to a 'right first time' approach to all works carried out, as it is crucial the fit out is to a high standard.
Electrician Attributes:- Up to date certifications (NVQ Level 3, ECS, 18th Edition, AM2 etc.)
- Must have IPAF operator certificate & a CSCS card
- Highly confident in installing containment, trunking & baskets
- Able to install trapeze support systems & fit baskets, trays & metal trunking
- Experience using Lindapter systems to hang the rods off the ceiling
- Ability to work independently & as part of a small team
- Strong attention to detail, quality focused & commitment to safety
- Happy to work in the Luton area, on a clean room fit out in a warehouse
- Experienced in reading & understanding electrical / technical drawings
- Own tools & Van required for this role
- Available ASAP to start next week on Tuesday 07/07/26
This electrical role is commutable from Luton, St Albans, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Harpenden, Hitchin, Northampton, Bedford, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Letchworth Garden City, Stevenage, Bishops Stortford & other areas close to these.
The client also needs Electrical Improvers who can fit containment & trunking (rates for them roles would be more c. £16-£18p/h).
