GBR Recruitment Ltd are exclusively working with an SME sized online circular economy resource redistribution platform business, recruiting for an experienced General Manager to oversee a small team of 5. This circular economy / repurposing online business supports mainly the public sector, healthcare, higher education & charities in sharing, reusing & loaning surplus assets such as office furniture, IT equipment, medical supplies & more.
This is a remote role, with end-to-end business operations responsibility, in terms of:
- Strategic growth & business development
- Commercial & financial controls
- Day to operational delivery
- Leadership of the team
- Governance & compliance control
- Sustainability & brand development
The company helps members and organisations save money, reduce waste, reduce emissions, be more sustainability focused, manage unwanted stock clearances, as well as in some cases connecting the organisation / business with charities, by donating unwanted items to support worthy causes.
This would suit someone working already within the circular economy services sector, or within a senior sustainability role or unused assets repurposing or possibly someone within a charity organisation that delivers similar offerings to the local / national communities they support.
