GBR Recruitment Ltd are working on behalf of leading Lincolnshire based business, recruiting for a true HR generalist professional who is immediately available, to work as a HR Business Partner (HR Manager), leading the HR / ER services across our client's thriving business, covering 14 months maternity leave (FTC) starting WC: 21/09/26
This is a key role, delivering consultative HR / ER guidance to the SMT / Directors and FTE's.
As the HRBP you will provide both strategic and operational HR support and guidance, ensuring the HR / people strategy aligns perfectly with the company objectives, driving efficient and effective organisational performance levels.
You will be a 360-degree HR generalist, who leads all HR activities, ER, EDI, HRIS, organisational development, recruitment and talent management, reward and recognition, employment law compliance and employee engagement, responsible for c.300 employees across multiple sites.
You will play an instrumental part in business growth, as well as organisational change / change management and CI methodologies, successfully improving initiatives across the sites.
This HR role will be based in Lincolnshire, but the role also supports several other UK sites, so some travel is to be expected to provide effective HR / ER support across the wider operations.
Duties
- Deliver strategic HR business partnering, building strong relationships with the SMT / Directorship and other employees.
- Provide both people and commercially focused HR guidance.
- Mentor, coach, support and challenge managers to effectively manage people
- Support OD, workforce planning and business transformation initiatives.
- Play a lead role in the successful roll out of the People Plan and business strategy.
- HR metrics analysis to gather real insights, reporting the findings to the SMT / MD.
- Support departmental heads with budgeting for labour requirements.
- Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payroll processes.
- Lead talent acquisition & workforce development in partnership with the SMT / MD.
- Develop and manage required skill sets pipelines through engagement and networking with universities, colleges, jobs / careers fairs and specific industry events.
- Successfully manage robust relationships with preferred recruitment partners.
- Support and lead succession planning and talent review processes, ensuring development plans are in place for key talent, working hand in hand with the SMT / MD.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation / law and HR best practice.
- Support customer audits, ensuring HR compliance requirements are met.
- Keep HR policies and procedures up to date, amending / updating when necessary.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, an ensure EDI policies are followed.
- Lead, mentor and coach the HR Advisor, aiding their professional development.
- Attributes
- Ideally CIPD L7 qualified (CIPD L5 considered) & with a degree.
- Generalist HRBP experience across multi-site organisations employing c.300+ FTE's.
- Strong across all areas of HR, ER, EDI, employment law, talent, recruitment, OD, CI.
- Manufacturing or processing operation experience would be a benefit (not a must).
- Used to being the stand-alone HR / ER function (this role has lots of autonomy)
PLEASE NOTE: This role commences ASAP to cover maternity leave. Ideally starting WC: 21/09/26 & interviewing next week.
