GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively with a leading Agricultural machinery company that has been trading successfully for many years. This well-established Agri dealership is seeking an experienced Agricultural Parts Advisor to join their small knit depot team based within the East Yorkshire / Yorkshire & Humber area, supporting with the supply of spare parts & components to their Agri business / independent farmer client base.

This is a great opportunity to join a dealership that supplies leading brands products across an array of different types of machinery, trailers & attachments. This business is financially secure & profitable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully sell and promote parts/services to internal and external customers, up selling & cross selling wherever possible to drive revenue streams and to drive the dealerships profit margins.
  • Maintain parts displays and assist with marketing campaigns.
  • Support parts inventory, merchandising, invoicing, and administration tasks.
Desired Attributes
  • Ideally with Agricultural / Farming products experience across one or more of the following; Agricultural Tractors, Combines, Trailers, Ploughing & Other Attachments, Spares & Parts.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use specialist dealer and internal systems.
  • Flexibility to meet seasonal business demands.
  • A full driver's license is required due to some driving with deliveries to farms.
Working Pattern

Working from Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm with weekend work required as part of a rota. Additional hours will be required during the 8-10 weeks of harvest time, however any overtime is paid at x1.5 hourly rate Monday to Saturday & x2 hourly rate on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.

This role is commutable from York, Hull, Pocklington, Beverley, Howden, Selby, Driffield, Leeds, Bridlington, Goole, Malton & other areas close to these within the East Yorkshire / Yorkshire & Humber area. Those willing to relocate would also be considered.
