GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively with a highly successful Lincolnshire based commercial defence business, leading the hiring for an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex high capital projects.

As the PM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the clients commercial defence technology projects are delivered both effectively & efficiently.

You will have significant high value project delivery experience (£M’s), ideally projects from within commercial defence contracts, government contracts or software / hardware commercial contracts within large scale corporate clients (national / global).

Responsibilities

  • End to end project management, from the initial project planning stages through to the execution / finalisation of them.
  • Delivering projects OTIF meeting the set deadlines & within the set budget.
  • Define project scope, set the project goals & the deliverables.
  • Create, maintain & develop project plans inc. project schedules & resources.
  • Coordinate with internal & external cross-functional teams
  • Successfully identify, manage & remedy any project risks & project issues.
  • Monitor project progress, communicating project updates to key stakeholders.
  • Chair & take part in project meetings to track progress & resolve any issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining engineering documentation drawings & technical records, ensuring that all engineering activities comply with required standards.

Attributes

  • Strong project management experience, from within commercial defence contracts, government contracts or software / hardware commercial contracts within large scale corporate clients (multiple £M’s)
  • Strong in project management methodologies & project delivery processes
  • Strong in using project management software.
  • Excellent professional communication skills & the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels (SMT up to board level executives).
  • Ability to prioritise project tasks & successfully deliver projects OTIF.
  • Agile PM project management framework certification desirable.
  • APM PMQ qualification desired.
