GBR Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing / interior fit out installation business, recruiting for a dual experienced FP&A Management Accountant (must have both skills) but a bias towards the FP&A side of the role, with additional MA duties.\\n\\nThis position offers Hybrid working\\n\\nThe company welcomes applications from those with ACA, CIMA or ACCA accounting qualifications (FQ).\\n\\nAn ideal applicant will have SAGE ERP systems experience, plus be an intermediate user of Excel, as well as being experienced in producing MI / KPI reports for Board & SMT review.\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\nA mix of duties in this dual role, focusing more on the FP&A tasks, but also Management Accounts, detailed below;\\n\\nBudgeting and Forecasting:\\n\\n * Creating / maintaining budgets, forecasting future financial performance (e.g., revenue, expenses, cash flow).\\n\\nPerformance Analysis:\\n\\n * Analysing financial results, identifying trends, and comparing actual performance against budgeted figures\\n\\nFinancial Modelling:\\n\\n * Building models to project the impact of various scenarios and make informed financial decisions\\n\\nDecision Support:\\n\\n * Providing insights and analysis to support management in making strategic decisions related to investments, growth, and operational efficiency.\\n\\nReporting:\\n\\n * Preparing MI / KPI reports and presentations for management, highlighting key financial data and analysis.\\n\\nSystems:\\n\\n * Systems administration, systems reporting, plus support with system integrations, working with raw data such as pricing (stock / sales) and product code changes etc.\\n\\nForward-looking & Backward-looking:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Analysing financial performance, with a key focus on the future business strategies and proactive planning.\\n\\nStrategic Focus:\\n\\n * Working closely with the SMT to understand business goals and translate those goals into financial plans.\\n\\nDecision Support:\\n\\n * Provide the data and analysis needed for strategic educated business decision-making.\\n\\nManagement Accounts:\\n\\n * Month end & Year end submissions\\n\\n * Managing cash flow & working capital\\n\\n * Balance sheets\\n\\n * AP & AR / General ledgers\\n\\n * Journals\\n\\n * VAT Returns\\n\\n * WIP accounting\\n\\n * Bank reconciliations, General ledger & Inter-company reconciliations.\\n\\n * Statutory accounts & close liaison with external auditors\\n\\n * Support to the Financial Controller.\\n\\n * Daily use of Sage\\n\\nAttributes:\\n\\n * ACA, CIMA or ACCA fully qualified Management Accountant / FP&A\\n\\n * Manufacturing or construction sector exposure is ideal (not a must)\\n\\n * Experience in both FP&A, plus management accounts is a must\\n\\n * Strong in producing MI & KPI reports\\n\\n * Sage experience\\n\\n * Hands on, as a relatively small operational team.\\n\\nCommutable areas include Wigan, Manchester, Bury, Skelmersdale, Preston, Warrington, Oldham, Rochdale & St Helens, plus other areas that are close to these.\\n\\nFantastic business, awesome modern day products & great people to work with in a vibrant working environment.\\n\\nApply today
