We are looking for a Data Engineer/Data Quality Analyst to work on our audience measurement systems based in London. The role focuses on assessing and ensuring reliable data processing for new and early-stage services.

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working – minimum 2 days in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand overall architecture and function of Kantar Audience Measurement systems.
  • Develop functional knowledge of individual components.
  • Review and assess data inputs and outputs against service requirements.
  • Understand component and system configuration requirements.
  • Contribute to developing tools and processes for checking and measuring service correctness.
  • Analyze and identify problems, assist in understanding causes and fixes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree of technical knowledge for navigating systems and assessments using IT tools.
  • Familiarity with IT environments and data processing.
  • Ability to identify, describe and communicate issues.
  • Database and SQL knowledge.
  • Structured approach to problem solving and analyzing information.
  • Python or similar skills (basic/intermediate).
  • Advantageous: experience with cloud-based systems (Azure), Linux shell scripting, command line and file-based systems.
  • Experience with media research – TV, Internet or Radio audience measurement.
