This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Asbestos Surveyor based in Welwyn Garden City. The Asbestos Surveyor will conduct asbestos management and refurbishment/demolition surveys, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver comprehensive reports to clients. Responsibilities also include liaising with clients, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical expertise to support clients in safely managing asbestos‑containing materials. The role requires adherence to the highest standards of health and safety at all times.

Qualifications

  • Certified qualifications in asbestos surveying, such as P402 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of asbestos management practices, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including asbestos‑related legislation and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and providing clear advice
  • Proficiency with computer software for reporting and data entry
  • Ability to work independently on‑site and maintain high levels of professionalism
  • A full, clean UK driving license is required
  • Previous experience in the asbestos industry or related fields is an advantage
